Sarah Keibler, Retirement Plan Consultant with Alliant Insurance Services, will share how the Retirement plan legislation is constantly changing. In her presentation you will hear how the Secure Act 2.0 is changing the industry and learn what tends are coming out of this legislation from 2024.
Laura Miller, Compliance Consultant with Alliant Insurance Services, will be sharing valuable insights on navigating benefits compliance in 2024, including ERISA Fiduciary Duties, HIPAA Privacy Updates, Proposed Regulations on Mental Health Parity, Telehealth Expansion, ACA Reporting – Electronic Filing.

Sarah Keibler
SVP, Retirement Plan Consultant
Sarah offers over 20 years of experience working with plan sponsors, HR leaders and executive teams working with qualified, non-qualified and pension plans. Located in Seattle, Washington, Sarah prides herself on her ability to improve plan operations and participant outcomes with minimal interruption for the HR team to manage. In her role Sarah provides education to clients about plan trends and industry updates while ensuring all retirement plans remain in compliance.

Laura Miller, J.D.
Employee Benefits Compliance Consultant
Laura received her law degree from Drake University Law School and is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and Denver Bar Association. As Employee Benefits Compliance Attorney for Alliant Insurance Services, Laura is passionate about helping employers understand the key compliance topics impacting their employee benefits plans. Laura enjoys working with consultants and employers to develop effective strategies for organizational compliance with health and welfare rules and regulations, including Health Care Reform, ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, and Cafeteria Plans. Together with Alliant’s Compliance Team, Laura keeps employers abreast of the changing regulatory landscape by providing timely updates on industry trends and legislative amendments in a manner that is easy to understand and apply.
