We will host a benefits focused Legislative Update webinar. Wade Symons, Mercer’s Regulatory Resources Group National Practice Leader, will provide an overview of the emerging regulatory issues to watch for health and welfare plans. 

With health policy still a hot topic post-election, and COVID 19 remaining in the forefront, employers need to stay on top of new laws and regulations that impact their benefit programs. This session will ensure you are up-to-date on the significant number of health care and other benefits-related provisions that will affect employers through 2021 and beyond.

Highlights will include:

• Policy priorities of the new administration, with a focus on what employers have indicated as most critical and a review of legislation passed post-election.
• Regulatory update including COVID-19-related guidance on vaccination and testing; new transparency rules for health plans; and ACA guidance.
• Litigation update including COVID-related lawsuits, the future of the ACA, and prescription drugs./ERISA preemption.
