In this position you will provide highly complex compensation and classification consultative and analytical consultation to all levels of state management in compensation and classification philosophy and theory. You will have the opportunity to lead substantial portions of statewide compensation studies to establish new or revised job classes in the process of maintaining the State’s job classification system. You will develop and analyze information to recommend policy decisions that impact the state compensation plan and consult with agencies regarding complex statewide classification and compensation issues, conduct comprehensive salary and benefits surveys and special research projects, utilize advance data base management skills, and participate in a variety of professional human resources statewide projects involving multiple agencies.
